Disconnections

Moving Out?
Close your existing Smart Energy accounts so future energy bills for this property are no longer in your name.
You will need to complete a request for disconnection form.

Please contact us at least one week before you move out of your apartment so that we can finalise your account.

We will need a forwarding address from you as well as the date you plan to move.

We will read the meter on this date and issue you your final account.

Your refundable deposit will be taken off this bill, or we will contact you if a refund is due.

Hint – To save you time, it may help to have the following details handy:

  • Your new and old addresses, including your postcode,
  • The date you are moving out
  • The name and contact number of your rental agent (if your new apartment is a rental).

NOTE: Please note that any unpaid outstanding account balances will result in non-refund of your initial account deposit, and the bad debt will also be registered which will affect your future gas supply accounts.
